PROVEN INTERVENTION TO BE DISTRIBUTED
Quality Agricultural Inputs
Learn more about the Quality Inputs Challenge and why an evidence-based model that distributes high-quality seeds could reliably boost the standard of living for smallholder farmers.
DISTRIBUTION MODEL INNOVATION
Peo-Boswa (Seeds of Heritage) by Temo Thuo Setho is an intervention that will provide quality millet and sorghum seeds and locally manufactured organic fertilizers to 100 farmers with farms of 2 hectares or less in the Chobe Enclave region.
Peo-Boswa will increase access to quality seeds and fertilizers through an agricultural pop-up shop distributing inputs to smallholder farmers. Local partnerships with reputable suppliers will provide a consistent inventory of top varieties of millet, sorghum, and organic fertilizers.
Their model hinges on effectively procuring and distributing quality inputs at scale.
PILOT AND SCALING GOALS
Directly reach 100 farmers within three months.
Distribute and enable access to quality indigenous seeds and fertilizers to remote community farmers.
