Learn more about the Custom Agriculture Challenge and why distributing proven agricultural interventions can greatly improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
DISTRIBUTION MODEL INNOVATION
AgriSocius Lda is a social pro-smallholder agribusiness company with a mission to commercialize smallholder agriculture in Mozambique. We envision all smallholder farmers living a decent life in Mozambique and in Africa.
AgriSocius runs pro-farmer Distribution Hubs that provide end-to-end services to smallholder farmers, allowing them access to quality and affordable inputs to increase yields as well as transparent and fair markets for their produce while earning profit dividends from the company’s operations. In each community where AgriSocius operates it uses an active network of community-based Business Associates to build relationships with farmers.
AgriSocius Lda was founded in 2016 by Quisito Bastos Gimo and Varnila Gimo. The first fully owned Distribution Hub will be established in Barue District.
