SEED GRANT PROGRAM · UP TO $20,000We seed new organizations distributing proven poverty solutions, all aiming to scale.
Millions of people still lack access to products already proven to save lives — oral rehydration salts, insecticide-treated bednets, off-grid solar, improved cookstoves. The barrier isn't the technology. It's distribution. Not enough organizations exist to close the gap.
D-Prize awards startup grants to entrepreneurs launching new organizations — for-profit ventures, NGOs, and charities — in any low- or middle-income country where extreme poverty still exists. We back pilots designed to grow far beyond their first grant.
